Member of Parliament baton charged in front of Singha Durbar

Police baton-charged a few Members of Parliaments (MPs), representing the Joint Dalit Struggle Committee, who went to submit a memorandum relating to Rukum West incident to the Prime Minister. Police baton-charged the group of fifteen people including the MP Laxmi Pariyar, MP Bimala Nepali and ex-MP Jeevan Pariyar. MP Pariyar has sustained an injury on her hand.
