Police on June 26 arrested 47-year-old of Beni Municipality-5 on the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl. 

The victim's father informed the INSEC representative that the accused raped the victim on June 11 by luring to take her to Pokhara. 

According to Dhruva Prasad Sharma, Inspector of the District Police Office, Myagdi police arrested the accused on the same day after the victim's family lodged a complaint against him at the District Police Office, Myagdi on June 26.

The victim underwent a health checkup at Beni Hospital on June 27, said Prakash Subedi, Information Officer of Beni Hospital.
