A complaint has been filed against Dal Bahadur Thapa (56) of Narayan Municipality-2 Kushada on 26 June for domestic violence on his wife Batuli Thapa (54).
Due to her husband’s beating, the victim is severely injured. The accused had beaten the victim on 25 June at around 10pm at night. The victim has blamed the accused of being drunk, informed District Police Office’s Women, Children and Senior Citizen Service Centre’s policeman Bhumi Dangi.
According to Dangi, since there is a written complaint regarding the incidence, action will be taken against the accused. The victim was treated at Dailekh’s district hospital on 26 June.
The victim had informed INSEC’s representative in a phone conversation and INSEC coordinated with the victim to file a case and get treated at Dailekh hospital without any charges.
