On the occasion of Paddy Day, the local residents of Kakani Rural Municipality-2, Okharpauwa, Nuwakot has protested against the contractor by planting paddy on the road. The locals came to the streets with black flags, banners, spades and paddy seedlings in their hands and planted paddy in a muddy road. The local struggle committee is protesting on a regular basis against a contractor for the delay of construction of Pasang Lhamu Highway.
