Local representatives close to the Nepali Congress have padlocked Gaindakot Municipality and the service seekers have faced difficulties.
After Mayor Chhatra Raj Poudel passed the policy and budget for the coming fiscal year 2077/78 on June 30, some municipal council members padlocked the municipality out of dissatisfaction.
They had padlocked the offices of Mayor Chhatra Raj Poudel, Deputy Mayor Bishnukumari Kandel, and Chief Administrative Officer Ram Prasad Acharya since June 30.
