City rickshaw drivers who lost their jobs due to 3 months lockdown have staged a protest with slogans against the government and its policies in Lahan, Siraha. Many of them had bought rickshaws taking loans. Paying interest to the bank has become a major problem since the lockdown. 96 Rickshaw drivers from Lahannagar have taken their rickshaws to the road as a precautionary action. Youth leader and social activist Mahesh Chaudhary warned to encircle Lahan's Area police office if the government doesn't permit rickshaw drivers to operate maintain social distancing.
