Private school teachers,staff of Jhapa stage protest

A silent rally was held in Birtamod, Jhapa on Friday under the leadership of Institutional School Teachers Union (ISTU) Jhapa demanding the salary of Lockdown period. Pamphlets with slogans such as ‘How long will the teacher be hungry?’, ‘Corona is still there, starving to death’, ‘Where is the government for us?’ were displayed at the rally.
According to the Chairman of ISTU, Jhapa they had already submitted letters of attention to all 15 local municipalities, but the environment for getting salary facility has not been created.
