Journalists of Saptari staged a demonstration on Sunday protesting against the communication bill recently passed by the Province 2 government.

Journalists have staged the demonstration in the district headquarters Rajbiraj after the provincial government passed the bill comprising provisions like imposing fines on journalists and confiscating media equipment. Journalist Navin Gupta said that the agitation will continue until the errors in the bill are rectified.
