The industrialists of State 1 have been agitating saying that the government has promised to provide some relief to the affected industries through the budget but the implementation has not been implemented yet. 36 district and municipal chambers of commerce and 10 commodity associations have submitted memorandums to the to the federal government, state government, Nepal Rastra Bank and Nepal Electricity Authority demanding extension of the insurance policy demanding concessions announced by the government.
According to the businessmen;
The industrialists have also urged to bring monetary policy as the demand of industry and commerce sector can be addressed in the monetary policy as they have problems in operating the industry due to the lock-down.
