40-year-old Lila Budhathoki (Magar), a resident of Dhaulagiri village in Khajura Rural Municipalit-3 has been partially paralyzed after being hit on the head with a wooden stick by her husband Chet Bahadur Thapa on June 27. Lila had been suffering physically and mentally at the hands of her husband for many years. Police have arrested Chet Bahadur and are further investigating.
Lila is at currently undergoing treatment at Nepalgunj Medical College, while the financial situation of the house is critical. Some of the money has been donated by relatives.
