Man arrested for taking woman hostage

On July 15, Sirutar Metropolitan Police Division and Balkot Metropolitan Police Division arrested 33-year-old Suraj Raut of Sasidol in Mahalakshmi Municipality Ward 8 on the charge of tormenting a 19-year-old girl after taking her hostage. The woman had been staying at Raut's house for the past eight months.
