Twenty Seven Corona infected persons in the isolation at the city bus park of the state capital Birendranagar staged a hunger strike on July 18 against the government's protocol of sending asymptomatic infected people home after two weeks of isolation without PCR test. They have demanded PCR testing to confirm the presence of the infection before they return home and have said that it will be a problem for them to reintegrate into the society if they are sent home without a PCR test.
