Private and community school teachers/staff union (PABCU) padlocked Kaski district branch offices of PABSON, N-PABSON, and UNIPS on July 21 demanding a full salary for the lockdown period saying that the decision to not pay teachers/staff would not be accepted under any circumstances and announced the campaign would eventually go nationwide.
Vice-Chairman Shivalal Upadhyaya warned that if their demand is not addressed they will padlock the education department of the municipality, education coordination branch, and the main gate of the schools and the school administrators would go on a hunger strike.
