On July 22, Nepal Students' Union Dadeldhura staged a protest at the Dadeldhura headquarters against the transport entrepreneurs alleging that the public transport operators are charging double the fare from the passengers against the government's rules. The student leaders have urged the transport entrepreneurs to abide by the rules set by the government. 

On July 20 and July 21, the traffic police took action against 11 jeeps carrying passengers and released them with simple fines. The students have demanded the government and transport entrepreneurs not to charge exorbitant fares from the locals who are going through many problems due to the lockdown. The Nepal Volunteer Association also have participated in the protest.
