Residents of Barpak Sulikot Rural Municipality-4 Saurpani of Gorkha padlocked the ward office stating that the budget allocated in the last fiscal year was spent elsewhere. The rural municipality is preparing to build a hospital in Hudiphant without upgrading the old Saurapani health post including three primary health centres to a 15-bed hospital. On Wednesday, Ward Chairman Bhim Bahadur Gurung was called to discuss the matter but the office was padlocked after he did not show up. Chairman Bhatta said that the residents of Ward No. 4 are coming on Friday to discuss the issue.
