After more than 1 year, police arrested 22-year-old Suresh Bhandari (Rajesh) of Ramechhap Khandadebi Rural Municipality Ward-9 who runs a meat shop in front of Madhyapur Hospital in Madhyapur Thimi Municipality on the charge of raping a 17-year-old teenage girl taking her to his room at the same place on June 10, 2019, and impregnating her. The victim gave birth to a son on February 09, 2020. A complaint was filed against him on June 28, 2020.

Police are further investigating the incident.
