Musahar community protest against assault on Consumer Committee Chairperson

The chairperson of consumer committee of Musahar village in Dhangadhmai Municipality-12, Siraha was beaten by the contractor after asking about the withdrawal of money through defrauding. Rajkumar Sada, chairperson of Newar village consumer committee was manhandled by Hari Mainali, a contractor and proprietor of Tridev Trade and Poultry Suppliers while confronting him regarding the withdrawal of money.
Meanwhile, the Musahar community protested against contractor Mainali and ward 12 chairperson Raju Shrestha on Saturday afternoon after the chairperson of the consumer committee was beaten by Mainali. The villagers chanted different slogans like ‘Stop beating, Stop fraud and commission, Take action against Perpetrator’.
