Dalit activists stage half-naked protest in Janakpur

On July 26, Dalit leaders staged a sit-in in front of the District Administration Office after conducting half-naked demonstrations at in Janakpur. Participants chanted slogans expressing dissatisfaction regarding the investigation and action taken after the murder of Shambhu Sada and Raju Sada of Dhanusha. Shambhu was found hanging in the Sada Area Police Office at midnight on June 9. Similarly, Raju Sada died in the emergency room of the provincial hospital on June 21 night.
