In Birgunj, the issue arose in the management of corpses of corona infected after the locals protested for the management of the body in the designated place. The bodies of five people who died of corona infection in Birgunj have been managed at three places. The body of an Indian national who died at the Corona Special Hospital on July 26 has buried by a team of Nepal Police and Nepal Army in a ditch on the bank of Tilawe River at midnight on Monday.
On July 27, a Nepal Army team was stopped by the locals on the way to Birwa forest in Birgunj-31 to manage the bodies. The locals of Birgunj-32, Tedha stopped the Nepal army team from digging a ditch at the designated place with JCB and tractor. Two days ago, the locals said that there would be no objection to burying the body in the inner forest, but the army said that they stopped it on Monday.
