Police have arrested 22-year-old Bibek Bishwakarma from Rapti Rural Municipality-1, Dang, on the charge of rape attempt and assault on a 100-year old elderly woman on July 31.  The victim's side had lodged a complaint on Area Police Office, Bhaluwang on August 1. According to the chairman of Swargadwari street development committee, the elderly woman sustained injuries in her chest, neck, face, abdomen and legs due to the attack. Health check-up of the victim was conducted at Sisahaniya Hospital, on July 1.
