A clash took place between locals obstructing the management of a deceased Covid patient and security personnel managing the body in Birgunj of Parsa on Friday night. The clash ensued after hundreds of locals tried to stop the army team and police from managing the body of a person who had succumbed to Covid. Police fired tear gases and warning shots to disperse the obstructing crowd. According to Parsa Deputy Superintendent of Police Manojit Kumar, seven policemen were injured in the attack.
