Police arrested 19-year-old Rupesh Kushwaha of Jagarnathpur Village Municipality-2 accusing him of trying to rape a four-year-old girl near a dam in Oriya river. The girl's father said that he did not find his daughter at home during lunch on Saturday morning.
The father grabbed the boy and slapped him twice before handing him over to the police post, Janakitola. Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Parsa, DSP Manojit Kunwar informed that the case would be filed against the child for sexual abuse after the parents lodged a complaint.
