Man involved in human trafficking arrested from Kathmandu

Bagmati, Sindhupalchok, Chautara Sangachok Gadhi, Ward 1
Police from the Bureau of Human Trafficking Investigation, Baber Mahal arrested 46-year-old Hang Lal Tamang alias Yanglal Lama of Sindhupalchok, Chautara Municipality Ward-1 currently residing at Basnet village of Gokarneshwar Municipality Ward-3, Kathmandu on the charge of human trafficking on August 3 .
4 women from Udaipur, Jhapa, Sindhupalchok and Kathmandu, kept hostage at Uttampur, New Delhi, India, who were lured by Basnet on 2017 for employment in Kuwait were rescued and police arrested him while investigating the incident.
Further investigations are underway.
