Police arrested 28-year-old hotel operator, Harka Bahadur Bohora of Kanchanpur, Krishnapur Municipality Ward-1 on August 5 on the charge of forcing 18-year-old girls into prostitution.

2 girls, who were brought to the Bohara Hotel in Attaria, Godavari Municipality Ward-2 on August 2 for the job of waitress fled from the hotel after they were forced into prostitution and lodged a written complaint at the District Police Office on August 6.

A case has been registered against Bohora on the charge of smuggling and hostage-taking and further investigation are underway. The victims underwent a health examination at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi on August 6.
