Civil Service Hospital employees staged an agitation program on August 7 in front of the hospital gate with banners demanding minimum wage and service facilities and protested against the hospital management for repeatedly ignoring their demands.
On August 5 they had met General Administration Minister Hridayesh Tripathi and demanded the same salary, grade, and health insurance facilities as government employees, amendments to discriminatory promotions in hospital regulations, and contract employees to be included in the internal examination for a permanent opportunity.
They have alleged the administration for exploiting employees, not paying minimum wage fixed by the government, not finalizing the number of grades and promotions, and also of not making the audit report public.
