Tribhuwan University and its affiliated campus padlocked

The part-time professors working at Tribhuvan University are agitating as their demands could not be met. They demand that those who have been teaching for a long time should be appointed on contract.

As a part of the agitation, the Nepal Part-time Professors' Association directed to padlock the Central department of Tribhuvan University and its affiliated campuses across the country. Some campuses across the country padlocked on August 9.

Part-time professors complained that they are not paid since February.
