Police arrests man on the charge of rape in Lahan

Area Police Office Lahan arrested 50-year-old Ramakant Chaudhary of Lahan Municipality-15 on August 9 on the charge of raping a 20-year-old girl. The victim's mother told INSEC representative that the victim was raped by the accused on August 3 and she could not lodge the complaint immediately as the locals tried to settle the case in the village.
