On August 11, locals of Balaju Bypass staged a demonstration carrying placards with slogans demanding to speed up the road extension and blacktop the road that has been washed away by the rains for the past seven years. Due to the bad roads of Balaju Bypass, the number of internal and external tourists visiting Baisadhara Park and the water park are decreasing.
The locals have been repeatedly demanding to make the historic Baisadhara Park well-organized and to make the movement in the tourist area easier.
