The unit committee of Nepal Part-time Teachers' Association(NPTTA) padlocked Padma Kanya(PK) Campus Chief's office and the channel gate of the college on August 11 with a 3 point demand.
They have demanded immediate and unconditional contracts for the part-time teachers, full salary of the lockdown period and to maintain equal pay for equal work.
They also issued a statement expressing solidarity with the Central Committee of NPTTA for a nationwide padlocking of constituent campuses under Tribhuvan University.
