Agitated locals vandalized the office of Krishnapur Municipality, Kanchanpur on August 12, after a woman Radha Od, who was in the quarantine of Mahakali Secondary School died due to electrocution on August 11 evening. They protested against the local government for their gross negligence.
According to the employee of the municipality, glasses of windows and doors of more than 6 rooms including the meeting room was broken.
They have padlocked the ward office as well.
Armed police removed the protesters from the office.
