Locals padlocked the Jagdamba Steel Company in Simara in Pathalaiya at Birgunj Industrial Corridor. The locals padlocked the main gate of the industry in the presence of people's representatives and security personnel and took the workers under control and locked them while they were entering the industry from the truck at midnight. Only a few days ago, 6 out of 11 infected workers working at Jagdamba Steel are in quarantine and the remaining 5 are missing. On August 12, a meeting was held in Simara with the representatives of Jagdamba Steel, Chief District Officer and Chief Deputy Chief Ward Chairman of Jitpur Simaraafter after the protest of the locals.
