The relatives staged a sit-in outside Ward Police Office Waling on August 16 demanding immediate search for 18-year-old Rajan Poudel of Painniyaz Road- 10, Waling, who has been missing since August 10. Stating that the police did not provide any information to Poudel till Sunday evening, they cordoned off the ward police office. Mother Kamala Poudel had lodged a complaint with the police to search for Poudel. Preliminary investigation has revealed that he may have gone missing while swimming at Odare Rah in Andhikhola of Bhirkot Municipality-4 on August 10. According to the police, his friends are under control who went swimming with him stated that he was swept away by the storm three days later. Accusing Poudel's friends of not reporting the incident on time, the locals demanded immediate action against them. Hundreds of citizens surrounded the ward police office and chanted slogans.
