Police arrested 21-year-old Bimal Magrati of Triyuga Municipality-10 on August 16 on the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl. 

The victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on August 1 accusing him of raping on July 31.

According to DSP Gobind Puri, the accused was arrested while he was staying at a relative's house on the basis of confidential information.

The victim's help checkup has been conducted at the District Hospital on July 31.
