The Kailali District Administration Office has issued a prohibitory order starting from 12:00am on Thursday to curb the spread of Coronavirus as returnees from India continue to enter Nepal. Initially, when the lockdown was first imposed the returnees from India were dropped to their respective ward quarantines in buses arranged by the government. However, after the lockdown was lifted the returnees from India were expected to make their own arrangements.
Although, the prohibitory order will be enforced from midnight, food, vegetable, milk, fruit, fish and meat shops will be allowed to operate for four hours from 5 am to 9 am mentions the order issued by Chief District Officer Yagya Raj Bohara.
The order issued by Chief District Officer Bohara states that the health safety standards have to be followed although they are allowed to operate for four hours from 5 am to 9 am.
Similarly, the administration has directed the banks to provide banking services through electronic means.
