A complaint was lodged against 45-year-old Ramsundar Sardar of Mahadeva Rural Municipality-3 on Thursday on the charge of raping an 11-year-old girl. 

According to the Area Police Office, Kanchanrup, Saptari, the complaint was registered against the accused stating that he raped the girl at 9 pm on Monday, while she was watching television. 

The Area Police Office has registered a complaint and is searching for the accused, said Tilak Bharti, DSP and Information Officer of District Police Office, Saptari. The victim underwent a medical examination at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj on Tuesday.
