Police have arrested 33-year-old Buddhi Bahadur Kishan of Mangala Municipality-1, Myagdi on August 19, on the charge of raping a 13-year-old child. The victim’s family had lodged a complaint at District Police Office on August 14 accusing Kishan had raped the child on August 14. Inspector Dhruv Prasad Sharma of the District Police Office, Myagdi said, ’ the absconded accused was arrested on the basis of a tip-off that he had come to his home after the incident.’ Police had extended 5 days time from the court to investigate the incident. A health checkup of the victim was conducted at Beni Hospital on August 14.
