A woman vegetable vendor has been injured after being beaten by Police in Mirchaiya Municipality-7, Siraha.
41-year-old Sitadevi Sah, who went to the nearby consumer’s house to sell vegetable, was beaten by police on Sunday saying she violated lockdown imposed to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Locals took Sah to a nearby clinic for treatment. The local administration had imposed a prohibitory order in the municipal area.
