Complaint lodged against rape accused youth from Rupandehi

A complaint has been lodged against 20-year-old Govinda Kewat of Siyari Rural Municipality-7 on August 23 for raping a 17-year-old girl.
DSP Khadak Bahadur Khatri said that the accused had raped the victim on March 4, 2020, last and she is 23 weeks pregnant. He said that a search was underway as the accused was absconding.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa on August 23.
