A complaint has been lodged against the 36-year-old man at the District Police Office, Salyan on August 25, on the charge of raping his 8-year-old daughter on August 6.

According to the victim, she was raped several times by her father when her mother had gone to visit her maternal home. The accused had also threatened to kill them both if they tried to inform anyone about the incident. 

Police are searching for the absconding accused.
