Police have assaulted the operator of Ganesh Opticals in Janakpurdham Sub-metropolitan city-2 for allegedly opening his shop against the prohibitory order issued by the local administration. Local businessmen protested after police pulled the operator of Hanuman Studio from his shop although he explained to the police that he had only opened his shop briefly to provide photocopy service to a person in urgent need. Police dragged the operator of Ganesh Opticals and beat him after he requested them to allow them to open shop in the light of their economic challenges. Police also arrested his son and took him to District Police Office Dhanusha.
