Family members of a rape victim from Rajpur Rural Municipality-5 of Dang have filed a complaint against 21-year-old Sanchit Yadav with the help of insec at District Police Office on of Rajpur Rural Municipality-3. Area Police Office Gadhawa had earlier arrested the youth and the victim, a 16-year-old girl from the house of Harinarayan Yadav in Rajpur Rural Municipality-3 on August 20 after being reported that the youth had raped the girl by luring her with promise of marriage the previous day. The victim's mother however, gave an application to Insec district representative's office after Area Police Gadhawa refused to register complaint against the accused. A complaint was registered at District Police Office Dang with the help of Insec and the district court on August 28 ordered the accused to be remanded into custody for further investigation. The victim was handed over to her family.
