Locals of Sukhipur Municipality-, Siraha obstructed army officials from burying the body of a man who died of Covid-19. A 65-year-old man of Sukhipur-8, Siraha had died in BPKIHS, Dharan, on Thursday. The body of the deceased was brought to Sukhipur at 10 am today. Locals have protested after Nepal Army tried to dig a ditch on the Gagan river bank to manage the body of the deceased.
According to Pradip Yadav, a relative of the deceased, the SP, the mayor and the ward chairman were in the field to manage the body. The ambulance carrying the body has been stopped by the locals near Gagan River since around 10 am.
