54-year-old Hom Bahadur Gurung of Kawasoti-3, who had problems in his lungs since 5 years ago, died in Chitawan after hospitals denied admission. Bharatpur is often cited as 'Medical City'.
Gurung's relatives took him to different hospitals in an ambulance for 5 hours, but hospitals denied admitting the patient. He died at Chitawan Medical College. The hospital started treatment only after going there for the third time and pleading with the doctors.
