Health workers in Mechi hospital agitated demanding allowance

Doctors, nurses, and other health workers at Mechi Hospital in Jhapa fighting Covid-19 have started an agitation from today demanding Risk Allowance. Although the government had promised to provide encouragement allowance to health workers fighting Covid-19, they are yet to receive any of it. As a first part of their agitation, the health workers in Mechi hospital have started working by tying black arm bands.
