Kapilbastu teen arrested on charge of rape

Police arrested 19-year-old Sanjay Tharu of Banganga Municipality-11, Kapilbastu, on September 1, on a charge of raping a 15-year-old girl. The victim’s side had lodged a complaint at District Police Office, Kapilbastu, on August 29, accusing Tharu of raping the child on August 25 at a jungle in Budhhabhumi Municipality-10.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted at Kapilbastu District Hospital, Taulihawa, on August 29.
