Police on Thursday clashed with protestors who have been demonstrating regularly in Garuda Bazar demanding an investigation into the death of Bijaya Ram in police custody on August 16. Police had arrested Bijaya Ram on the charge of murder of Niranjan Ram. The protestors have been demanding justice for both the deceased. A clash broke out between supporters of former minister Bishendra Paswan and police in which police fired a few rounds of tear gas after the protesters pelted stones at the police.
