Police have arrested 23-year-old Keshav Thakurathi and 37-year-old Minraj Bhatt of Bedkot Municipality-3, Kanchanpur on the charge of raping a woman. Both of them had been absconding since May 23, 2020 after gang-raping a local woman.

The victim had lodged a complaint with the police against both of them. Both were absconding after the woman lodged a complaint. They were arrested when they returned home. Deputy Superintendent of Police Amar Bahadur Thapa said the necessary investigation is underway.
