Cadres of Nepali congress picketed the office of Shukaphanta Municipality of Kanchanpur on Sunday, demanding to make a public account of quarantine expenses. They have demanded the municipality to show the bills of Rs 33.2 million which was said to be spent on quarantine and isolation and also to show the expenditure of cow management and relief distribution program.
Addressing the picket program, Dhaul Singh Mahara, coordinator of the Congress municipality level monitoring committee, accused that none of the wards have worked properly to maintain the health standards for quarantine and isolation.
