Demonstration in Kirtipur demanding release of those arrested furing Machhindranath Jaatra

Locals of Kirtipur organized a demonstration in Kirtipur on Tuesday demanding the release of those arrested by police during the chariot procession of Machhindranath last Thursday in Patan of Lalitpur. Participants at the protest carried placards reading "Jaatraa hamro pahichaan, Newa ekata Jindabad'. The demonstrators proceeded towards Baghbhairav after police moved them from Nagau.
