Teachers of Dadeldhura working under the teaching-learning grant quota in community schools have padlocked the Education Development and Coordination Unit and the office of the head on Wednesday.
In the previous academic session, a lump sum was released in the first month of the economic year as a salary for the granted teachers working under the Government of Nepal in community schools across the country. But, the salary of the past two months is yet to be released in this new economic session by showing the crisis of coronavirus pandemic.
Keshav Bahadur Saud, the coordinator of the struggle committee, said they were compelled to padlock the office as the teachers working in the same school were paid, but their salary release decision is yet to be decided.
